Giants and Vitality

Giants might have lost but still a promising showing considering they are a new team and its late so probably tired. Both Giants and Vitality have been showing a lot of promise in this tournament, I think fans are underrating these 2 teams because they dont have fan favourite players but they are actually underrated stars, if they mix well together as a team I could see them being better than TL, FNC or NaVi. What do you think vlr experts?

I wont judge any team atm because they all new rosters. Maybe Navi with 4 cores but i feel like they fell off a little bit

They didnt fall off, remember RedBull last year with new FPX? They were shit, ANGE1 is a csgo old dog, csgo veterans tend to use scrims/small tournaments just to learn regardless of result so they were probably trying things and trying to learn as much as possible about what they should do in the future. I wouldnt worry about them either since they are the team with the best prep for matches so it can be hard sometimes to play these tournaments without knowing what the other team might do

giants putting nukkye on support instead of entry is the biggest throw

they will change Bind comp imo
nukkye Skye > Raze
Fitinho Raze > Chamber

Surprising they play skye, very shit agent nowadays imo and specially if you dont have some1 like starxo who is incredible at the agent

fitinho on raze was fine but hoody on skye cloud on viper and nukkye on fade couldve been 10x better imo they already were insane on that agents before i dont get why they didnt played this way maybe they just wanted to try new stuff.

Not really, nukkye is insane player but a bit of a baiter, fit1nho is a great duelist aswell. They could try to put fit1nho on chamber more often and nukkye on raze on some maps idk

It's not a throw but still in an early stage, in a way...
Though I'm a bit surprised you don't mention specific agents because having four absolutely brilliant Raze mains in your team and a player who can also play Raze excellently - hoody, puts you in a very difficult situation as a coach.... the same could be said about their other agent roles that also clash between the players... something Giants need to figure out, eventually.

yea same, nice to see the new teams playing, definitely team chemistry needs to be worked on and we see teams try other stuff that look uncomfortable but thats what off season is for.

I agree, I think Giants has a bit better firepower overall but I am not sure about rhyme as igl and pipson as coach. If vitality got some1 like vo0kashu instead of bonecold in the future I could see them seriously competing for top1 in EMEA and even the world

Well, He was the coach of OGLU and they had very good teamplay and strats with players of a lower category than the ones he now has in vit

tbh I didnt like how OGLU played but I still trust ange1, hope he isnt as bad as other overhyped english coaches like mini, sliggy and neilzinho

its actually destrian, bonecold was never an igl, he was the de iure igl in acend but every1 knows it was starxo/zeek calling, same in vitality where it was baddyg

Salah literally talked about him as IGL in post-match interview

He is the IGL, just not a very specialized one Ig. Molsi and Destrian were both mid round callers in OGLU so yeah IG both of them do help a lot

no, BONECOLD was IGL, baddyG helped with mid-rounds calls

what an odd comment since we won the regional league and came 2nd in EMEA Finals

not sure why I am taking shots anyway, was just correcting your confidently incorrect statement

What's that supposed to mean, they played amazing and hit insane shots

Many rounds were won by superior firepower. In my case I'm not convinced by Hoody as a sentinel, I prefer it as a flex because it has more impact as a support and getting first kills

If I remember correctly hoody was an anchor in csgo so he probably asked to play sentinel himself, I think he will do well in that role

That's right, he asked for it but I think he doesn't have as much impact staying in one place or lurking, but it's just my opinion,
