Registration is currently open as of the morning of January 25. Teams now have nearly a week to guarantee their spot in this qualifier, as the signup window closes at 11:59 p.m. UTC on January 31.

The qualifier is limited to 512 teams and is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m. UTC on February 4, lasting until the late hours of the day if there are more than 256 teams present for this qualifier. All games on the first day will be Bo1, with advancing games in subsequent days to be played out in Bo3 at the rate of two rounds per day.

When it comes to rules and regulations, Riot has toned down the threshold for players in terms of rank. First Strike teams were required to be entirely Immortal 1 or higher, while in Valorant Challengers the bar has been lowered to Diamond 1 or higher. This requirement is subject to change throughout the year as more qualifiers are hosted.

Riot will also force the use of a Valorant Tournament Client for this qualifier, and probably throughout the entire Champions Tour. It should function in a similar fashion to LoL's Tournament Realm, where professional players can play in a more controlled environment due to the game's constant patches.

Registrations are open at the Champions Tour's official website where the full ruleset and schedule is also available.
