How is SEN bracket run less impressive than 100T?

100T played the same teams/arguably worse teams. Yet everyone thinks 100T is amazing even tho they played literally no good teams, and even dropped their best map to a NYFU. Akrew is ass, and even SEN beat them with 1 week of pracc.

Yet everyone thinks 100T is so impressive when SEN beat DZ/Akrew. Where as 100T beat NYFU/Akrew.

How is everyone so impressed by 100T when SEN run was arguably harder and better?

but most teams start off strong and then fell off

just cuz ure playing good doesn't mean u gonna keep getting better

its easy for new teams than for older teams

new teams have nothing to lose, a fresh mindset, know wont get much hate
not much pressure

old team ppl expect them to do good thats when pressure is build

new teams having nothing to lose and having less pressure because they wont get as much hate applies to new teams on smaller orgs, this doesnt apply to teams like 100t and tsm

thats so backwards, if you are new then you have no protocols, strategy, team chemistry, etc. sen has nearly 2 years worth of that. New teams have literally everything to lose, look at ec1s and babyJ for a example.

No, 100T lost 1 map. Every single other map was won by over double the rounds except for a 13-7. That's impressive.

Yes they beat the GOATs known as “Soniqs” and “Akrew” but lost two times to TSM

We talking Qual 2, and it's compared to the rest of the teams in it. Realistically, it was a decent run, but it was bar none the best in Qual 2. They did lose to TSM twice. But, since those loses they've looked like a MUCH better team. Gl TSM.

Nothing, TSM probably have/will improve. The only thing people are saying is that 100t seem to be improving very very quickly. Whether that will prove to be true no one can say. I think wronghand’s somewhat right in saying TSM should watch out is because the 100t/tsm series were both super close. 100t dominated map 1, close map 2, tsm dominated map 3. Both times. If 100t have increased their map pool it might be a different story. Only time will tell though.

I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT TSM. 100T GOT BETTER BETWEEN QUAL 1 AND 2. WHERE WAS TSM? QUALIFIED. TSM IS A TOP 8 TEAM NA. IM SAYUNG 100T HAVE SHOWN THAT FRON QUAL 1 AND 2 THEY HAVE GOTTEN BETTER. NOTHING ON TSM.

it was the fact that SEN lost to a team that 100T wiped the floor with (Akrew). SEN's run was impressive but they were never meant to be down there in the first place considering their track record (always being ahead of every tier 2 team no matter how much they fell off). meanwhile, 100T, whose team is completely new and are still building the basics of their maps, was able to make it through and make it look (somewhat) easy as a top seed. I would have expected the roles to be flipped, where SEN makes it through easily and 100T not making it through the top seed in the same side of the bracket as SEN.

both had easy Ro32 matchups
SoaR + DarkZero = NYFU + Soniqs (NYFU is probably the best out of the 4, Soniqs probably the worst since they lost to SoaR)
both easily beat Akrew to qualify but SEN lost to them 1st
basically the only difference between their bracket runs is SEN lost to Akrew while 100T had no problems with them at all

i would also say that it's more impressive for a new team that has been together for a month to qualify, vs. a team that has the same core it's had since First Strike, has only had one roster change in more than a year, and has had countless hours to scrim and practice together and build synergy

Maybe because when SEN lose they always say "We will comeback stronger", then their IGL start streaming 6hours/day. And when their next match happend they start tweet "we've only got 1week of practice"
