Liquid need a true Jett player and someone like Cned is the perfect fit tbh. They will have to - Soulcas but I think it works out well. Scream can play Skye and Kayo permanently while Cned can play Jett and Sage. Jamppi can go full time on Sova and Link plays smokes with Nivera flexing.

Also financially Liquid has tons of sponsors and money to buyout Cned.

Jamppi is a good player but im not sure about his IGLing, im sure he would be playing a lot better if IGL role was taken off him

Jamppi can IGL well but their role situation is a problem. Scream has his aim so he can play anything and be impactful but sometimes Jamppi plays Jett and IGLs while Scream takes it in Breach which is not very stable.

The main Liquid problem is literally changing roles every week, the only way to be the best is by practice, and you won't get any practice if you play 10 different agents in the span of 2 weeks.

IGLing is important but having set roles can also make things comfortable for everyone. Jamppi probably doesnt feel comfortable doing it because there are so many role uncertainties and set plays. When you IGL you need to have a specific agent setup in mind but when everyone plays different things in different maps then it becomes hard to strat and antistrat.

Yeah but almost every top european team asides from FNATIC has been flexing roles, G2, FPX, M3C, Guild... Even in NA with OpTic. I don't think that's what's separating them from other tier 1 teams

G2 literally play one dimensional. They go A in Icebox 85% of the time and still win comfortably past the anti-strats. Nukkye is calling and performing on duelists and he plays Sova.

How come when Jamppi joined they managed to make Iceland, probably the worst take is saying someone's IGLing is bad cause that sometimes that is kept literally in the game.

"No one feels comfortable IGLing" As the guy above said, is hard IGLing when every map you have new agents, new strats, new set plays and new things to worry about. Like if you play Sentinel in Split, you have abilities to cover areas and give you info, then the next week you play no sentinel and you have the main issue of not having enough eyes in the map.

"We'll probably gonna try one more thing IGL wise..." That suggest Jamppi might have not been IGLing the past weeks or Sliggy has changed his way of IGLing which makes Sliggy the "weak link" not Jamppi.

This clip was from the c9 vs the guard watch party, just two days ago. They're probably going to do these changes now in scrims.

As the guy above said, is hard IGLing when every map you have new agents, new strats, new set plays and new things to worry about.

My point is that this is going to be the case for valorant for the future. I dont think you will be able to run the same strats comps and set plays every game. Of course IGLing isn't going to be easy, but that's the case for every other major team aswell, yet it's Liquid who have been suffering precisely because their players aren't dedicated IGLs
