PCIFIC Esports PCIFIC Esports Europe Rank #86 seven Johann Hernandez assistant coach Dario "ZaeS" Gomez has announced that the team has allowed him to explore his options for the 2027 season.

"Mainly looking for AC in a proper environment but open to other offers," he said. "Able of working and having impact both individually and strategically on a team."

In the past, ZaeS has worked with BBL Esports BBL Esports Europe Rank #6 Lar0k Yusuf Kaan Kanber Loita Utku Kart , QoR QoR North America Rank #13 , and Melilla Titans Melilla Titans Europe Rank #314 yaggert Joel Torres Diaz Zeni clush Galdex , among other teams. He made his coaching debut in 2022 with Spanish side Melilla Titans Melilla Titans Europe Rank #314 yaggert Joel Torres Diaz Zeni clush Galdex .

ZaeS joined PCIFIC in April of this year following an 0-3 EMEA Kickoff for the team, which was tasked with a rebuild following BBL Esports BBL Esports Europe Rank #6 Lar0k Yusuf Kaan Kanber Loita Utku Kart ' acquisition of its squad following EMEA Ascension. The team, which was assembled in the aftermath of the BBL move, struggled to mesh early on. Unfortunately for the team, that remained the case in Stage 1, where it went 0-5 and won just two maps. One match into Stage 1, ZaeS joined PCIFIC as part of a shuffle within the coaching booth. Leader stepped down from the head coaching role, allowing for thinkii to step up, opening up a role for ZaeS in the coaching booth.

Stage 2 saw the team continue to struggle, posting yet another 0-5 record in the group stage, followed by back-to-back losses to Challengers squads in the Play-In to bow out with an 0-15 record on the year — the second-ever winless campaign in VCT history.

According to Riot's VCT Global Contract Database, all members of PCIFIC's team have contracts that expire at the end of the 2026 season. With the current partnership agreement coming to an end, it remains unclear whether or not PCIFIC will remain in Valorant next year.
