Stage 2, many teams don't try in EWC
They are stupid if they don't try with a $2,000,000 prize pool.
I personally hold EWC to a ridiculously low standard, so I view stage 2 as a higher achievement. However I understand EWC being higher in anyone else’s view
Stage 2, more was at stake. High contenders for champs
stage 2, qual/seeding for champs the biggest tournament of the year

EWC, cause international tournament with international teams.
ewc is impressive cuz international but this year has been disappointing cuz NRG had issues in EWC and NS didnt get their yoru second wind until after EWC (strongest team 100T faced in ewc was probably NRG followed by BBL then NS 😭😭😭)
stage 2 is impressive cuz teams are trying way harder in order to make it to champs and 100t not dropping a single series there (except C9 LUL) is very impressive
Stage 2. All riot sponsored events have more value than non riot sponsored. Based on how this esports landscape is set up. CS is a different story.

EWC for me
it’s an international lan and had really good teams and not to mention the money players and the org made.. the value of that tournament is only gonna go upwards now that riot has encouraged 3rd party organizers to host events.. so eventually we will have Mickey 3rd party tournaments and EWC will be perceived as semi- major or most prestigious 3rd party event which is not quite masters level but above a regional title.
Also asunaluvr I have a question for you.
If we didn’t win stage 2, you would be defending the ewc title and its credibility with your life. So why not stay consistent and even after winning stage 2 stay true to what you believe and think ewc is bigger than a regional stage?

I'd rather win EWC for the money + play against international teams if I didn't attend a previous masters
EWC because 100T needed to adapt to unfamiliar playstyles like NS and BBL.
