Will China be #1 in the future?

I have seen TMV say that China will be the best VCT region one day. I can definitely see where he is coming from. Although VCTCN has the most brutal fanbase in Valorant, very unforgiving match schedules and harsh training routines, it sounds extremely great to get juicy Chinese salaries, play in a futuristic arena and receive so much Chinese fan support both offline and online.

You wouldn't get this much support anywhere else in the world. You won't see fans have as much dedication to VCT as the Chinese enjoyers. Who wouldn't want to compete in such a great, modern E-sports environment where VCT is actually a culture that many Chinese viewers are very passionate about. Hence, many top pros should find it highly appealing to compete over there.

What do you guys think? Do you guys think VCTCN will be the leader in the future?

With the amount of resources it's pretty likely, something similar happened in Overwatch where historically Korea has been the best and took over during the OWL period recently Saudi teams and players have been taking over Europe bc they put so much money into Saudi eLeague which helps develop younger talents

There's so much money and resources being poured into the academy systems that eventually the talent will outshine the other regions... eventually. A big problem rn is that the current top tier creme of the crop talent pool is spread out pretty thin atm. I would say the only two orgs that have had a majority of their squads be players that are top 3 in their respective roles are EDG (historically) and Tyloo (currently).

Ignoring individuals though, structurally there are a lot of import coaches currently holding positions in tier 1, and there are a few domestic coaching staff that are extremely competent (ironically Tyloo is hogging most of the high profile ones).

This year has had a uniquely positive trend in terms of how well crafted the decisions from most of the orgs have been. If this progresses the region will outpace the others in terms of improvement, but that's IF this keeps continuing.

China imo will have a period they will shine a lot but then fall off slowly like in league. The government gaming rules will eventually catchup like they did in other esports. Also there is a chance their t2 scene will be full of gambling and matchfixing shit like in league which can kill the talent pool. Also Other regions being able to field 16 or 17 year old talents in pro level is a big advanatge.
