JUST GIMME CHAMPS 2025 META WITH HARBOR REWORKS AND SLIGHT TWEAKS PLEASE LORDDDDD
I mean that's what they did when prime jett and chamber were in the same meta.
The Dive players would play chamber-
2022
FNC put derke on chamber
Acend put cNed on chamber
FPX put Ardiis on chamber
Cryo played chamber on XSET
Furia had DGZ on chamber
List goes on
You either had your jett player on chamber half the time or you usually werent playing chamber
Alfajer played Raze and Neon on most maps where Derke played Chamber
starxo and zeek played Raze and a bit of Neon when cNed played Chamber
Zyppan played Raze when ardiis played Chamber
zekken played Raze and even some Jett when Cryo played Chamber
qck was FUR's main Chamber for most of 2022 looking at the stats and dgz joined playing entry duel - during Champs 3/5ths of their games had a Raze or Jett played by qck or mazin
an entry duelist is mandatory on most maps
yoru is NOT as much of a dive as raze/jett/neon
only crazy teams played solo yoru
Then those non-insane teams can replace yoru with neon/Waylay
I see a lot of potential in Yoru solo dive if every agent is in their prime tho. Theres enough chaos with Pre-nerf everything that Yoru can get through undetected and be a solid possibly busted solo-entry.
This right here highlights the exact problem. The fact that current nerfed omen and sova/fade are still needed in a line-up with the most broken agents of valorant history
Omen protected every single game
(insert BS agent here) banned every single game
Just do apex's system
I honestly doubt Omen would be the agent of choice to "protect," considering there are other smokes that are 70-90% as effective as him, compared to, for example, protecting Viper on split/Lotus who has no replacement.
Paranoia
omen is and has always been the best agent in valorant because of paranoia. There are a few exceptions where you'd want someone else (Like you said viper on lotus or brim on bind.) but almost everywhere else, Omen is protected.
Smoke agents are Not balanced in the slightest, the tier list is just

Biggest gap in history
Viper
Gap of the same size
Astra
gap of the same size
Everyone else.
You can make abyss work without jett
You can make bind work without raze
You can make bind work without brim
You can make ascent work without Cypher
You can make haven work without KJ
But omen is bascially Pro valorant 101, He's so broken that people are just used to the problem atp. He's needed a nerf for years.
Omen just overshadows every single other smoke agent on standard maps.

Get some coordination. Every senti not named cypher are getting farmed in VCT
its crazy how one single sentinel was so insanely busted that riot ever since then made all sentinels ass even when they get buffed... not even a proper sentinel either.

rebuff deadlock veto and kj even more
give tejo rechargeable rockets for 50s

how do you even solve omen/sova/fade/viper/etc constantly dominating the meta every single year
i agree these agents make the game boring as fuck and im sick of seeing them but like how can you even fix it
Genuinely only solution atp is agent bans. It’s so hard to make some of these agents (omen, viper, sova, etc.) non-meta without ridiculous buffs/nerfs that become a problem in their own right
but that's assuming that any team would ban any of those agents, they wouldn't because they ALL use them
teams would absolutely ban common agents. Being the first to NOT rely on them would be a gigantic advantage
in most games with agent bans, it's the good agents that get banned the most
I actually liked the yoru meta tbh some of the most creative stuff was back in the yoru meta. The astra+ yoru ult
Fade+yoru ult. The only complain i really had was yoru just shorting you in the face otherwise I felt the skill ceiling was quite fun to watch
Now with phx or chamber it doesn't incite anything enjoyable for me and tbh other than kc games i haven't been watching any games this season
