has signed Luis "basic"
Henrique Ferlin Tessaro, opening the door for him to finally make his VCT debut for the team over a year after initially joining the squad.
basic has been introduced as FURIA's flex player for the current roster. Around this time last year, though, he was a midseason addition during a rebuild that came in the midst of a real crisis for the org. The team, in its current form, was winless through the first two phases of the season, with an opening win with five stand-ins in the season opener the only positive result for them. After joining, basic soon after began dealing with visa issues, forcing the team to pick up adverso as a stand-in. While playing in other non-VCT matches was no issue, basic's FURIA stint seemingly came to an end without playing a single match in Los Angeles. In December of last year, basic was announced as a sixth man for the team, but is now set to make his long-awaited debut.

FURIA, after winning Kickoff and finishing 7th-8th at Stage 1, embarked on yet another midseason rebuild. The team let go of nerve and alym , meaning basic's addition brings the team's roster size up to four.
