EDG's struggles continued on Pearl, where it looked like they might go out with a whimper. FUT was in control of the whole first half, getting up to an 8-4 lead. However, EDG finally turned up in the second half, spearheaded by none other than KangKang on his signature Jett.

EDG managed to tie up the score, and then push further and take the lead, reaching matchpoint at 12-10. FUT dug deep and big rounds from xeus brought the map to overtime, but EDG was able to clutch out two close rounds to end the map 14-12.

The map would not be in their favor today however, as EDG completely rocked them to the tune of 13-5. It started with a pistol and bonus round conversion from EDG that let them snowball the half up to a 9-3 lead.

FUT started off the second half with a pistol round, but any hopes at making the comeback were quickly dashed when CHICHOO narrowly clutched a 1v1 in the most crucial round. From there it was all over for FUT, and EDG were able to close out.

EDG advance forward in the upper bracket to meet the winner of G2 Esports vs. XLG, while FUT drops down to the lower bracket to face the loser of that same match.
