He's supposed to be a content creator, I never see him wrecking it in big games. The Spanish media and community have transformed themselves from a GOOD player into a Valorat star.
The guy has absurd numbers, huge fanbase, great power of influence, and worldwide recognition for the person he is, in terms of player, we have better players than him, but without as much experience as Mixwell. He shouldn't stop competing, but the best option would be a content creator, the guy has charisma and is a dear person. But he's not the player you say he is, at least not for me.

Agreed. Let him play a role that's more passive and considered. I think he would make a decent Chamber or Op-ing KJ or something. Let him lurk and stop relying on him for entries.

Also OP makes fair points, if he doesn't find a role that suits him in comp, he will do just fine as a content creator. Huge fanbase.

Taking into account all his jett games instead of just the last qual, he has more than twice fk than fd. 253 acs, 1.30 kd and 145.7 adr. people forget that before he changed roles he was one of the best jetts in eu. Just give him some time in official matches and after more than 2 bo3 you will be able to say he is good/bad.

last time he played jett before the first open qualifiers was on november against TL but they didn't play that game seriously because it was red bulls home ground and they lost all 4 games trolling. before that he played jett on june, 2021. so any data of mixwell playing jett before the first open qualifiers is obsolete because the state of the game and the EMEA competition is not same as it was 7 months ago.

People just exaggerates, Jett is not his role, but it’s not like his stats were that bad, the team just wasn’t there that day. Is not like he is suddenly a tier 3 players, he still has options even if is not in Jett

he is good but not good enough in his role, thats the only problem i see from his time in G2.
i still think he is pretty good and hopefully got a team soon.
for cc and pro thing, if sentinels can be a 12 hours a day streamer while being pro, why mixwell cant?

We can't deny he fulfilled his role when G2 needed him the most, but that's it really. Yeah ofc we all know there's wayyy better players than him, but he's getting all the recognition bc of his fanbase, and that's good! I hope every top player could have the fanbase that he has rn, that amount of support could motivate a lot of pros to keep grinding in the competitive scene.
