Why can't Riot just give this kid a chance?

he had a chance just like everyone else but squandered it by doing something dumb enough to warrant a 1 year ban. He only has himself to blame

As much as his friends want to lie about it, this is literally a normal in-game ban for 3 repeat offenses on blatantly intentional behavior bans. He totally got ingame'd for slurs and Riot T&C is very clear that this also jeopardises your ability to compete.

It's not a hard rule to follow. No pro has hit this threshold and we literally know some that would if their job wasn't at stake.

There is a huge difference between doing something at 17 and growing up to join the scene and doing something at 17 as part of the scene, also.

"Kid" he's 17. He's already been involved in other dramas before with saying slurs, it just never blew up. It finally caught up to him, I like canezerra as a player and he's definitely immature in some senses, hope this knocks some sense into him. Regardless if you think saying a word is offensive or not, in a PROFESSIONAL environment it will ALWAYS lead to backlash. That's just reality.

Its so funny how many people are coming out and defending him without even knowing what went down. I mean what if he did something really awful and either ways being 17 cannot be your defense. He already had a negative image after his gf drama whatever went down now must have been the tipping point. Being good at a video game cannot excuse you from being held accountable for your actions.

my assumption: riot will never give this type of punishment without warning maybe he is doing this shit for long time instead of getting warnings.
