Unlikely to happen, but IF a gc/academy team got to the play-ins for shanghai through challengers, and qualified to champs as the 1st or 2nd seed. Let's use TLV for an example, and liquid also qualified in Emea would TLV not be allowed to go? Or would riot require the roster to be picked up by another org before the play ins even happen?

I don't think TLV would even be allowed to play in regionals even tho they'd be in americas and not emea
Every other academy team/GC team remated to a T1 org wouldn't not be allowed regionally either
GC teams can go to champions even if their main roster is there too but academies cant for some reason (This will prob be lifted next year)
