Santiago was a fluke because all the first seeds are struggling(yes furia will be ass as well) and they were just one meta wonderers which has passed away from them.

Even the score tells you who should've won that, miracle night and thats all.

Pure fluke shit.

eh some champs aren't and tbh NS does win that runback 9 times out of 10 it's just new meta is exposing how masters 1 teams were carried by unorthodox meta

literally the most fluke of any champs tho what is this, if FNC wasn't addicted to alfa neon and allergic to double senti pearl or sunset ethan gets exposed

the only flukey part about NRG’s run was them winning vs MIBR on abyss

They were very comfortable against EMEA teams consistently compared to the other regions so I would have to disagree about the finals

MIBR players couldn’t win a clutch to save their lives especially in the NRG and DRX games, rewatch round 28 on abyss and look at how bad cortezia played that round out. Aspas literally handed them the map just for the entire team to toss it away

one meta wonders

almost like having a read on the meta is a core part of skill expression in valorant

if they really can read the meta, why are they struggling in stage 1?

#18

they read the meta in santiago better than any other team that didn’t qualify. some teams benefited from the yoru nerfs while others didn’t, it’s just a matter of who can adapt quickest

being able to read the meta =/= being able to succeed in the meta.

drx were the first to read the champs meta with waylay-yoru but didn't win the tournament

g2 had the tejo meta down to a tee, but t1 played better with their double duelist comps

nongshim redforce is one of those rare occasions where they had the best meta read and also the player quality/strats to succeed in it, much like GMB21, LOUD22, OpTic22, FNC23

nongshim is just trying to figure out what to do after yoru. their games have been really competitive, and they didn't win a single pistol against drx
