The series started on Vitality's pick of Abyss. Both teams had dominant wins in their previous showings on the map with entirely different looks, with Vitality running Waylay-Yoru and FNATIC sticking to Sova and KAY/O.

FNATIC started the map on their attack, where they dismantled Chronicle's Veto setups with slower defaults and finished off rounds with stalwart postplants. A pistol and a bonus kept them in control of the economy, giving them plenty of anti-eco rounds to win and leading them to a 9-3 lead at the half.

A second pistol for FNATIC promised a quick end with no surprises as the orange-clad team won out the map 13-5. crashies was a safe pair of hands throughout, often saving his team in close rounds to end with an 18/10/5 KDA and sever-high 174 ADR.

The next map was Bind. This time, FNATIC was the side playing double-Duelist, fielding a Yoru and Raze against Vitality's double-Initiator composition.

In the first half, FNATIC threatened another dominant attack side with a 5-2 start, pressuring Vitality with uncharacteristically fast site hits. Vitality instead managed to grind things back to 6-6, winning close retakes off the back of PROFEK and Derke each collecting 4Ks.

FNATIC won yet another pistol on the other side of halftime, going 4-0 in pistol rounds over the course of the series. The real impact round, however, was round 17, where Alfajer pulled off a 1v3 clutch.
