thoughts on VCT Americas so far

dgz is a goated player
BABYBAY is playing surprisingly well, didn't really expect that at all
Sentinels is so washed
FURIA looks really good. Good skills and great coordination. Somehow, all of them mesh really well together.
G2 is still a regional farmer
NRG is not gonna win anything this year. Maybe make some LANs. That's all.
MIBR might be the first superteam in a long time, and might win it all, if they play it right.

well he was quite literally the best player at ascension, despite his stinker against Envy and how much better TSM was in the lower final so yeah it was kinda expected for him to be insane. Granted I did not believe he would do as good right off the bat on an english speaking roster, but he definitely always had the raw talent and he worked extremely hard in T2

we know now that loud’s team environment was genuinely terrible, and in the games it’s pretty clear that they cannot perform an exec with their duelist. Virtyy and dgzin were set up to fail

NRG needs to get used to making more on the fly adaptations if they want to make deep runs, they should be fine in the lower bracket but it’s a concern internationally
