The Valorant Oceania Tour will be divided into two stages, culminating with the OCE Championship that will be held in September 2022. Each stage will boast a $25,000 AUD prize pool and circuit points spread across the top eight teams from the individual stages. These circuit points will determine which teams will compete in the OCE Championship which boasts a $30,000 AUD prize pool and an invite to represent Oceania at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Last Chance Qualifiers.

Stage 1

LPL have unveiled a new format for each of the Oceania Tour stages. Stage 1 will feature three phases: Open Qualifiers, Group Stage, and the Regional Playoffs.

Open Qualifiers will be played out from Jan 12-16, while the Group Stage will be played across two weeks - Jan 28-30 and Feb 4-6 respectively.

The Group Stage placements will act as seeding for the following Regional Playoffs being held from Feb 10-20 across two weeks in a double-elimination bracket format. The winning team from each Regional Playoffs will represent Oceania for the newly-minted 2022 Stage 1 Asia-Pacific Playoffs for a spot at Masters.

Asia-Pacific Playoffs

This also marks the first mention of an Asia-Pacific Playoffs for the 2022 Valorant Champions Tour. Previously, teams from the APAC region have been separated each to their own regional playoffs in order to qualify for Masters, with Korea and Japan set to continue this format for 2022. Valorant Esports SEA lead Alex "Opal" Archambault has said that news regarding the Asia-Pacific region will be revealed as early as January 2022.
