why most vlr users will probably never find an SO

What you lot seem to not be able to understand is, you set standards for men or women likewise that are so unrealistic, you will be left searching for that person. Because in life some things are important. The thing I've always told myself is when I can run my own kitchen is when I should be able to get married or even do as much as search for love. Sometimes in life you just have to genuinely see if you mesh with a person well. Looks to a certain standard can be important especially if it means that they aren't taking care of themselves, a.k.a too fat, horrible skin, smoker, excessive drinker. However, at the end of the day you have to end up living with someone looks won't define how the house runs. Things like a stable income, meshing personalities, communication, mutual understanding, love, aligned goals. These are things that help make a house into a home. This is also why a lot of people on vlr won't find someone important like this till they all wake the fuck up. Go out have a little fun. Explore yourselves and always strive to be better for yourself as well as your future.

Thank you for coming to this ted talk

I been on this site since 2021, and this is just me vocalising my thoughts you may not like it. I couldn't care less because it's the honest truth. If you think by keeping high standards (not you specifically) are gonna find the perfect person and have the perfect relationship that's far from the truth

Yeah no I am actually writing a paper on home rn for uni, trust me there are way more factors into making a house a home then just your SO, in the case that you feel home is even bound to a place. I think you went a bit of the rails in the end bc u started quite well

let the morning coffee hit then I will further this thesis. My brain isn't working at max capacity rn. also an SO is a big part of a house becoming a home, in my opinion, obv not the defining factor

Yeah no so you saying with your parents as a child you didnt have a home bc “you didnt have an SO” and it’s a big part? Tbh i think an SO might be one of the most overestimated parts of feeling home

Why obsess over it? Nobody is perfect and you dont have to be either. Youll find your SO when the time is right
