he is genuinely top 3 recon in NA how is he in T2 idk hopefully he learns to igl cause every team wants a recon igl nowadays
could be the igl angle which is valid ngl this team needs the best igl they can get and they can't get much i would trust c0m igl over derrek even 2nd igl they need stability

brawk, trent, verno, kyu, vora, eeiu, maybe even c0m
he is a upgrade over brawk(especially in this meta cause he has a chamber from some reason) and is a side grade over vora,eeiu,kyu mechs and util wise he for sure doesn't clear trent,verno and the only reason you would prefer kyu,vora is igl recon not mechs or util he can make top 3
I think youre severely underestimating eeiu here. also, brawk proved himself at the highest level, he has a higher ceiling than derrek. i would also consider the king of clutching, c0m, better.
I agree that derrek is a pretty good player, but he doesnt really shine in any regard. i dont think he’s anywhere near top 3 recon NA after not proving that at EG or for having a good game in tier 2.
legit just a team of lft tier 1/2 players pugging it and all of them actually looking good. need them in tier 2 hopefully next year
zelsis on that same team too and these players can upgrade on furia,c9,eg,and 100t on flex bare minimum
Really goes to show how much nepotism there is tier 1. Like I understand the importance of chemistry and all but we can't keep using the same excuses because at point why ever recruit new talent if they won't chem with your team. Like Zellsis has never played with that specific C9 roster AND he's on a new role, so how can you be confident that he'll still be able synergise well with them? Are you sure a better player couldn't have meshed with the team more?
Also it's so BS to say vibes because it's so rare that players are actually just completely incompitable. C9 is already a high energy team yet I am expected to believe they need another vibes player? Not to mention internationally competitive like FNC, PRX, Gen.G are already willing to make changes even if the new player they get won't have the same chem because they understand chem is something that is developed as a team and NOT something that should be treated as requirement
