Currently valorant professionals are very much dominated by CSGO transfer players, especially in NA, I wonder if the csgo scene in NA comes back to life and all the players return to csgo again and bring their fansbase, will that be the end of valorant esport?

valorant wont die if ex-cs pros switch back
if fpl/rank s queue was popular among streamers like tarik, auti, stew, then maybe but i could easily see both esports coexisting

Most of them will just return if valorant dies, but that will never happen because Riot is behind

It depends on when the Valorant bubble in NA bursts. It’s good right now but nothing lasts forever. When it does burst I feel like that is when players will start to switch back. It would be nice to see newcomers instead of players who are signed just off their status in CS and just cycling between NA Valorant rosters. The exact situation NA cs had.

Most players won't be able to compete in t1 CS so I doubt it's going to happen. I think that a lot of teams will sign teams from poor regions. So many motivated players who are ready to play 10h a day for 1-2k salary so why should they overpay for almost full-time streamers 10-15k lol

1-2 years and Valorant scene may become full of BR/CIS/SEA/LATAM teams

They won't go back just to get rekt by younger players in NA. They'll stay in VAL and stream/join a tier 2 team, while also making decent money.

No, there are very few opportunities in CS for NA professionals atm. Its pretty much just TL
