Ever since babybay, a mid tier player in tier 2 joins g2 and dominated the best players in americas especially by the end of his stint where he’d gotten comfortable, I have this suspicion that the g2 system makes its individuals (other than the duelists) shine and elevates their level. I’m very curious to see what Jonahp will look like without that system around him.

That being said I’m g2 I wouldn’t have dropped Jonahp. On the other hand, if I had to make a change, Jonah would be the player I’d replace. I just wouldn’t want to make a change though

G2s main issue was trying to force Tejo when he was ass after the nerf. They just needed a better meta read and patience and they would have contended for more internationals (Like they did last year)
I think they also get people diffed sometimes, such as vs prx and against heretics and fnc last year for an example

trent's stats on tejo were like 0.75 average, off tejo was like 1.2. Dude just play duelist or smth. STOP FORCING THE TEJO HE'S A PIECE OF JUNK AND GIVES 0 POST PLANT VALUE NOW
babybay didn't dominate shit, he was just a system player. obviously having a developed system makes it easier to slot in players but I don't think this devalues jonahp in any sort of way. I don't like him but he's one of the smartest players I've seen in terms of micro decisions, also his viper is really underrated
