These were the rosters that many people considered superteams (since I started watching):

FNC 2023 (Complete Success)
There was also debate in 2023 for c9/nrg/sen/navi/prx but eh
NRG 2024 - demon1, victor, ethan, crashies, marved (Complete Failure)
LEV 2024 - aspas, kingg, c0m, mazino, tex (Dominant regionally, Top 3 Champs)
T1 2025 - Meteor, Buzz, Stax, Sylvan, Izu (Won Masters Bangkok, then Failure)
VIT 2025 - Derke, Less, Sayf, Kicks, Trexx (Top 4 Masters Bangkok, then Failure)

How do the following teams compare? Both teams have 2 proven superstars, a young player with superstar potential and 2 solid players
VIT 2026 - Derke, Chronicle, Sayonara, Profek, Jampii
MIBR 2026 - Aspas, Zekken, Verno, Mazino, Tex

idk if VIT is a superteam, Sayonara didnt play on T1 yet and both PROFEK and Jampii are really good, but not superstars.

Even MIBR I guess I question a bit due to tex. Also, Mazino I think the same as I said about profek and jampii.

no, Sayonara is not proven, but a lot of people are hyping him up to be the next great thing

FNC 2023 is the only superteam there's been. If you count others then you can make same argument for multiple teams and it loses its value.

honestly I kind of agree somewhat. Leo, Chronicle, Alfa and Derke were stars, and the best pieces for what Boaster planned too.

The other ones were always "pretty good players" together with one or two stars at most.

if you want to be technical the only superteam ever was fnc 2023, but nrg 2024 is below the SEN 2023 and NAVI 2023 tier

anyone with a brain knew Chet couldn't lead a team without FNS

In at the time I don't think chet being a shit coach is something you could have truly assumed yet and I did forget about 2023 navi they count the rest don't though a true superteam should only consist of truly proven players (so people who've won something which at the time they didn't)

Also current rumored Vitality aint a superteam either bro we gotta stop throwing this word out like its candy, no wonder so many of them fail because people put high expectations for teams that should never have the expectation of the same title as 2023 FNATIC 2 time international winner. Just arent superteams bro there is no "Oh but they have aspas" "Oh but they are all good on paper" blah blah blah if you have questions about the team then thats not a superteam now is it??

maybe hot take, tex is the only thing holding mibr back from being a true superteam. If they kept cortezia or got someone better then they take over the world this season. They still might rule the world this season because the other 4 are so crazy.
