TSM TSM Inactive Timotino Timothée Lavigne Dupont stand-in alvinboy Alvin Hong stand-in seven Johann Hernandez gMd Anthony Guimond vora Jordan Pulwer has announced its withdrawal from Valorant for the second time since 2020.

"Throughout the last 3 years we have continuously navigated the Challengers circuit in the hopes of finally reaching Tier 1," TSM's statement said. "We improved gradually, year over year, culminating in an Ascension grand finals berth in 2025. Now, after half a decade in Valorant, we plan on exiting the space with no immediate return in sight."

As one of the most well-known organizations in Valorant's pre-partnership era, TSM began its Valorant journey in 2020, with a squad highlighted by the likes of WARDELL and Subroza leading the squad to a runner-up finish at First Strike: North America. In 2021, TSM fell short of cementing itself as one of North America's strongest teams, standing in the shadow of squads like Sentinels Sentinels North America Rank #4 N4RRATE Marshall Massey Reduxx Yassin Aboulalazm johnqt Mohamed Amine Ouarid Kyu Mirel Braco Hrustemovic cortezia Gabriel Cortez , Version1 Version1 Inactive , 100 Thieves 100 Thieves North America Rank #6 Cryocells Matthew Panganiban Asuna Peter Mazuryk vora Jordan Pulwer Timotino Timothée Lavigne Dupont bang Sean Bezerra , and ENVY ENVY North America Rank #3 canezerra Alex Banyasz Eggsterr Inspire Hunter Schline P0PPIN Matteo Weber ion2x Ayan Rastogi . 2022 was more of the same for TSM. The organization reached the main stages and playoffs of multiple Challengers stages but fell short of qualifying for international events over the two years.

TSM announced its temporary withdrawal from Valorant midway through 2023, followed by a return just before the 2024 season. Since returning, TSM has arguably had its two most successful years since entering Valorant. A runner-up finish in the region earned the team a slot at Americas Ascension 2024, while a trophy-lifting Challengers NA Stage 3 campaign earned the team another Ascension shot. With just one slot up for grabs, TSM fell in the grand final to regional rivals ENVY, shutting them out of VCT.

"We would like to thank Riot for their continued attempts to restructure the Tier 2 ecosystem for the better, and for creating a game we all love," TSM said. "We extend our deepest appreciation to all our players over these past 5 years who have made our history within this esport possible."
