Winners and Losers So Far

Winners:
EMEA: 4 teams, 4 qualifications, all the 1 seed in their groups.
SEA: 3 teams, 1 qualification, another one possible. Performed well above expectations, safe to call them winners.
LATAM: VAMOOOOOOOOS!

Losers:
BR: 3 teams, 0 qualifications. Can NiP save the region? Is a superteam needed?
KR: For a team considered to be one of the best, going out in groups is not what we expected.
JP: Crazy Raccoon couldn't deliver for their third straight LAN, who can save the region?
SEN: Yes, I gave SEN their own category. They have been on the downfall since Iceland. I don't think Zombs will get dropped.

Uncertain:
NA: If NV doesn't qualify, then they can be called losers. Well played to C9 though.

Edit: Update: So far from the looks of it, NA might join the losers club real soon.
Edit: Update: Update: Lets go NV!

Agree, japan and brazil both need to create superteams for next year. hope nv performs im a bit worried the final 8 will be a roll for emea

isn't VK already a superteam of sorts? They did prove their capabilities vs acend tho, just the whole situation was unfortunate

they completely fell apart towards the end before they got eliminated, do you believe that they would have been able to beat nv?

I honestly don't know, that group is so chaotic

NV stomp x10, VK technically did beat ACE, and then ACE proceed to crush NV and x10 destroy VK. I have absolutely no idea how this match will go

if all this drama didnt happend i think they would be able , i mean Victor is not looking well and the last time they faced each other they put up a good fight .

Imo, sentinels actually imperoved a lot from their berlin performance this champs
they made good adaptations from a technical standpoint but just failed individually when they had to win important duels and seemed like miss comms too.
but yeah, sentinels played better than last tourny, the teams in their group just showed up massively

the igl'ing was a bit questionable this time around to be fair

really? i thought sen did well in both mid rounding and reading opponents well, they just felt like indecisive during rotations, even during shaz interview he confirmed it that he knew what kru was doin but the players themselves hesitated during rotates but oh well shit happens , they def didnt show their best selves

Classic shahz coping blaming others

Part of that may have been them trying to find the balance between having a coach and an IGL, something that takes time.

As for JP - it looks like Zeta is assembling an all-Japanese superteam. I think the play for Japan as a region is to pick up younger, newer players whose first FPS is Valorant. Japan should have an abundance of these players as a result of the popularity of the game in the region.

They need to stop importing Korean players if they cannot speak Japanese, but this seems difficult as it works as an easy method for organizations to stay ahead domestically.

would be good to see

ZETA roster has a lot of potential, Laz is legitimately a t1 player globally and Dep, TEN, and takej (when he returns) will make for a very solid core. I think they will dominate japan next year

I think creating SAM region would be really good for both LATAM and BR, we have a lot to learn together. Also, BR needs fresh roasters, which can be brought by NIP imo.

i wouldn't solely rely on NiP to revive the region
