is easy to learn korean or japanese to speak and understand writing
i dont have any korean experience but learning 3 years of japanese in high/middle school was pretty hard as there are a lot of different words and ways to use them but the writing and reading for katakana and hiragana are pretty easy. kanji is really hard though
if u watch japanese with subtitles for a while u will be able to pick up basic japanese
u will be able to understand the words without subtitles then but for reading and writing u need to learn the syllables thats the only way
korean i didnt feel the same way korean tone is very spontaneous so picking up words is difficult
JP has a lot to learn but once you learn it then you will be alright idk have any idea about Korean though
as an indian, learning jap was way easy for me cuz we phrase the sentences in the same way. learning words in any lang will be tough but phrasing sentences is a bit tricky if it doesnt match with your native lang
Korean alphabet is easier to learn, but there are some exceptions where the word is read differently, u just gotta learn it (korean nasalization). Also some words are very similar like 가방(Kabang) and かばん(Kaban)
The sentence structure in both korean and japanese is the same though Subject-Object-Verb
