With two VCT slots up for grabs and last year's finalists sent back into the gauntlet, Pacific Ascension 2025 will kick off on October 14 at the Imperial World Samrong Convention Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Eight of the top teams from the region's Challengers circuits and two teams with a year of VCT experience under their belts will face off for the right to ascend to VCT Pacific in 2026 with two spots up for grabs.

Qualification was determined through different formats for each region. In Southeast Asia, the top four teams from Split 3 qualified, with teams from Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines claiming Ascension slots. FULL SENSE and NAOS qualified for their second-straight Ascension event, while Motiv Esports was victorious in the grand final. Velocity Gaming won the South Asia Qualifiers, while E-KING finished with a large circuit points lead at the end of the split. RIDDLE ORDER defeated FENNEL FENNEL Japan Rank #1 GON Kento Hara Aace Souta Itou Hals neth Yusuke Matsuda MrTenzouEz in the Japan Finals, beating them out for the second-straight year to qualify for a second-straight Ascension event. In Korea, SLT Seongnam was victorious in the Road to Ascension event, claiming Korea's sole slot despite a strong campaign from FEARX FEARX Korea Rank #7 . After failing to qualify for Champions Paris but finishing in the top eight in Championship Points, Nongshim RedForce and BOOM Esports will compete for their VCT livelihoods at the very competition they clashed at one year ago, when Nongshim was known as Sin Prisa Gaming Sin Prisa Gaming Inactive Persia Yang Zi-on (양지온) margaret Kim Ji-woo (김지우) Dambi Lee Hyuk-kyu (이혁규) Francis Kim Mu-bin (김무빈) Ivy Park Sung-hyeon (박성현) .

Format

This year's event will split the field into two groups of five, with the group stage running from October 14 to October 21. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which are double-elimination, with the third seeds entering the playoffs from the lower bracket. The lower and grand finals, which will be VCT qualification matches, will be best-of-five, while all other matches are best-of-three.

With the top two teams ascending to VCT, there will be no grand final held, with the upper final and lower final winners earning a spot in next year's VCT Pacific league.

Prize Pool

Both of the region's Ascension slots are up for grabs, but a $100,000 prize pool will also be divided.
