Lukaševičius has left the team, splitting up the roster that has been together since 2024.
In a parting statement, MiniBoo detailed his experience with Heretics and his reason for leaving. He expressed great appreciation for his teammates, coaches, and other Heretics staff as he reflected fondly on their time together, and highlighted the support he was provided throughout. He revealed that despite his amicable time with the team, the past season had been difficult for him, with being in the same exact environment causing him to often feel down and relive bad memories.
“I want something different,” he said, “I want to take a step in a different direction.”
With MiniBoo's departure, Heretics' long-standing five-man roster of the past two years will be broken up, and a new face will emerge next season. Despite never lifting a VCT trophy, the Heretics roster still boasts a wealth of accomplishments. They transformed what was a bottom tier team into EMEA's very best, qualifying for five out of six possible international tournaments. They notably were the runner-ups to both Masters Shanghai and Champions 2024, falling only just short of claiming an international title. They took a step back in 2025, but had a resurgence towards the end to reach top six at Champions 2025.
Heretics also shared their own video in which the team and coaches recounted their experiences with MiniBoo, offering nothing but support and best wishes in his future endeavors.
