They would. EDG would surpass them with 1 more win. EDG has 4 trophies from regionals. GENG would tie with 1 more win. G2 would also surpass them. They have GC championship and 3 regionals.

EDG has champs. EDG has the most regional wins of all time. EDG is like MJ they dont lose grand finals. Their region is no less or more than any other region. if it was riot would not provide the same amount of qualification spots

because just like the Micheal jordan analogy, they didn't face tough competition. you can't really say that they had harsh competition, even in apac there was fights between drx and prx for the crowns of pacific, but in china only edg was good. also, like other teams that have won champs have done way better than edg have at other runs.
edg's run at champs wasn't a miracle or a fluke imo, but they have never done that before or again (other than bangkok) which they proceeded to flop afterwards

In Valorant we dont have an organization that won more than 1 Champions (biggest trophy in the esport), but an organization that only won Masters and Lockin cannot be the greatest. Even Sentinels(2 Masters) are greater than Fnatic

FNATIC, even if their wins are in your opinion slightly less impressive, have the longevity at the top from the very beginning till this day. They are still making grand finals even if they don't win. No other team is consistently placing this high year after year for this long.
no other team in vct has had this level of success. made the gf for 21 reyk, 2 trophies in 2023, 2 grand final appearances in 2025.

If we go by actual trophies GENG, PRX and EDG are all 1 international win away. PRX has 3 regional wins. EDG has the most regionals with 4. GENG tie fnatic with 2 regional.. G2 also a win away they have game changers and 3 regionals

for a team that made it to the most amount of grand finals (and the biggest one recently), winner of lockin and tokyo and a lot of emea titles, most consistent team regionally and internationally, then indeed the answer is yes.
They are definitely in the lead for greatest team but like... you cant say most consistent team regionally with teams like G2, EDG, and PRX literally having more regional trophies than them

I would also argue that SR is more consistent internationally and regionally. Also SEN tie them with total trophies. If we count the regional masters plus their 2 international masters and kickoff win
FNC are by far the greatest team of all time they have won titles and stayed the most consistent team of the entire game I would say the only thing they don't have is a champs trophy but with all due respect the only difference between a masters and a champs trophy is it's played at the end of the year.
And the narrative that "teams are the best at the end of the year" is just completely wrong this game is based on form and how you play on the day there is realistically no difference between a champs trophy and a masters trophy skill wise.
