KOI KOI Inactive 's Bogdan "sheydos" Naumov has announced his free agency, beginning his search for a new team for the next season.

"After I took a break for the second stage to fully recover both physically and mentally, I'm more motivated than ever to win and move forward," he said. "I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity. I want to thank everyone I worked with over the past three years at KOI. Unfortunately, we did not achieve what this organization and fans deserved. It's time to move [on] and accept the mistakes that were made."

sheydos had been with KOI since the start of the 2023 season, joining as VCT entered its partnership era. sheydos, who has been a Sentinel and Initiator player for most of his career, started the year as KOI's go-to Tejo player. Through Kickoff and Stage 1, Tejo was his most played agent, followed by Breach and Killjoy.

KOI moved sheydos to its inactive roster at the end of EMEA Stage 1, benching him as part of the team's midseason rebuild following disappointing placements in the first two phases of regional play. With sheydos in the squad, KOI ended the 2023 EMEA League ninth out of ten teams, ended Stage 2 in 2024 as last out of 11 teams, and ended Stage 1 in 2025 9th-10th. After the rebuild, KOI did not see many improvements, ending Stage 2 9th-10th.

Since the end of KOI's 2025 season, a mass exodus of players ensued. Coaches simoz , Bambino , and Gorilla , and players baddyG , MONSTEERR , nataNk , Filu , soulcas , and flyuh have all either departed or opened their restricted free agency since. Just under three weeks ago, it was also announced that Riot had terminated its partnership with KOI.
