Although I always thought this would how NA playoffs would conclude before champs, it’s great to see that there are some real stakes still on the line.
With SEN & G2 basically being qualified since the Stone Age, and MIBR’s bitter-sweet qualification, it’s refreshing to know that importance still stands within the rest of Stage 2 playoffs in NA.
I don’t know who I want to win, I like NRG’s players more, but C9 as a org has always looked like an international threat.
Is it really just down to who wins the next match with mibr taking the other spot? Sorry if obvious that is hype for Friday if true though
Just curious, I wanna know why mibr takes the 4th spot on qualification since all 3 of c9, mibr, nrg are on 9 points currently, what basis makes mibr the one claiming the 4th spot than the other 2? Shouldnt it be given to the other 2 since they made it further in playoffs as opposed to mibr getting eliminated in group stage?
because americas does tiebreakers differently for some reason and it's based on year-long head to head, which mibr have over both nrg and c9
Its so sad that both c9 and NRG can't qualify due to mibr champs points :( . There should be a last chance qualifier instead of this champs point bs.
