Bangkok feels dystopian

Like how tf was it only a few months ago and so much has changed, it almost feels like a whole different year of the game, DRX are dead, T1 are shit, EDG are washed, TE are ass, VIT has died slowly, TL has changed their roster, and a whole new meta now (which will last a month bc of new maps, EVEN THOUGH THE MAPS CHANGED IN STAGE 1, but that is a different conversation), also reminder that NAVI is winning champs

Changing map from kickoff to master toronto and then change again in stage 2, Riot is ridiculous

pearl is overhated, we've got plenty of tools to help the defense control B long nowadays and its not much worse for spam than Haven.

Ascent is fucking broken though, correct double sentinel comp play guaranteeing 8/12 rounds on the defense. I've been enjoying Icebox more with the increased comp diversity and lotta cooking with Omen but it's still a bit weird.

Bro icebox is literally either you slam site and win or lurk mid and win. Anything apart from these and you straight up lose on attack. Defense is just full retake/ die to mid lurker/ big A fight almost always leading to your baiting jett 1v3ing the slrest of the team

distant is probably a better word

it's an entirely wrong word.

"dystopian" suggests something was extremely wrong, oppressive and unfair (tejo lol).

it's an adjective describing governance mostly, or just an environment that is almost hilariously unfair.

just "different" is probably fine

Kinda shows the competition in every region tbh

Americas still top heavy with G2 and SEN, so the same teams + MIBR made Toronto, which means that the competition in Americas this year is kinda bad

Pacific is extremely competitive this year, like 7/12 teams in the league right now have the potential to go to international events, and it showed in the teams they sent to Toronto - No DRX and no T1, the literal WINNERS of Bangkok

EMEA is whatever, VIT crumbled because of internal issues not cuz the competition was high, and TL were just good throughout. The competition wasn't that high with the only team aside from the 3 teams that made Toronto giving some sort of fight being BBL. You should be expecting FNC, TH, TL and BBL to make Champions from EMEA.

China also became much more competitive this year compared to prior years where EDG would just dogwalk everyone.

Pacific had all the reads on T1 and drx, competition is on another level in Pacific, that's the reason why we could see other teams struggling against Pacific teams. Same with EDG and TE.
Americas I don't think there's any competition there!!
Emea, TL is really good but Nats visa issue Literally put them in danger.
