As this year's China National Champions adheres to the VCT rules, which only allow a single foreign player, it's unclear whether the Ascension will implicitly require this. It's been heard that some Chinese teams tried to sign SID before, but it seems they couldn't reach an agreement. What intrigues me is that the Chinese Ascension teams have started choosing Vietnamese players as their foreign players.

idk much about chinese tier 2 scene but fuck there aren't a lot of good teams. I think RA is top 2 for sure
