I know this is surprising but NV might have thrown the gambit match... for example, they beat 100t convincingly who also beat Gambit... but then they lost to Gambit?

Reasons to Throw:
1) TSM don't get LCQ which would've helped NV get chet because I believe NV never wanted Mike as their coach so they knew they could get chet if they lost
2) 100T> most EMEA teams with Steel so if NV won it would just be more competition at champions
3) NV is an L org with an L owner... only good players they have is crashies and yay... anyways 3rd reason is that secretly FNS is jealous of TSM coz roza said NV has never beat TSM...

More like Gambit choked against 100T. They were dominating, but couldn't close it out. Classic Gambit.

Gambit choked against 100T

That is true, but Gambit played pretty bad in 2nd half of Icebox. And even the fact that they went like 2-10 on defensive side against non Sage comp is just super bad. Even the last round before possible OT was 3v1 for Gambit and they literally threw that so bad. It was great clutch from Hiko, but the way how Gambit approached that was super bad. 100T played well and showed strong mental strength, but saying that Gambit played their normal level is just wrong.

Or maybe... just maybe... 100T came back from being down 9-3 on a T sided map on T side... idk

Instead of thinking of straight head-to-head, org-vs-org ideas, you should be looking at the style of play. Gambit's style of play relies heavily on team-play that caught a lot of teams off-guard. In NA, there's a standard of play where most teams play retake on most sites. If you pick off one player in a site, you usually get the site for free after that. Most of the dominate plays from Gambit lure you in and you think you're facing one person but another is waiting in another position to catch you off-guard.

The reason 100T and NV do well is because they are more focused on taking map control at a slower pace. The slower pace allows them to usually get to an execute at full strength as opposed to showing up down a player or two. It's harder to exploit teams like NV and 100T in a dominate fashion because they're not going to run-by an angle and not check it. That's more true for 100T than NV (given that NV has been 13-0'd) Looking at the score line of NV vs. Gambit, 3-0, you might think they got dominated but all of those games were close and it's NV's playstyle that got them as close as they could vs. Gambit.
