this a safe space to drop an unpopular opinion u have about a specific valorant player/team/etc

They are, but the gap is still pretty large nlg. If you just look at just the bilibilli streaming site you'll see that the grand finals between XLG and BLG only has like 330K views while the qualifier match between BLG and EDG has like 900K views. And just in general if EDG has a match in vct, the views easily reach min 500K.
Ninguém minimamente chegou perto de performar o que ele performou em 3 anos de carreira. Ele ficou top 4 no Stage 1.

sorry not top 5 but best duelist itw thread
miniboo is mentioned the most and has the most upvotes so I'm assuming most people believe miniboo to be the best duelist itw rn
LMAO Zmjjkk's international career is NOT better than Aspas'. If anything he is even more of a regional farmer. Both were champs finals mvp but Aspas finished top 3 in champs 2 more times and in 2 different teams at that + 2 times masters second place, Zmjjkk's international resume doesnt even come close to that
Initiator is such an overrated role that too many teams try to crutch on because they think they can cook up the perfect preround play. And even then, Kay/o and Gekko are generally played so poorly relative to what they're capable of
Since Tejo is getting euthanized we should be seeing a lot more Deadlock, Viper, Harbor, maybe even Sage and Phoenix, but frankly most teams are not willing to experiment like that
agree, EXCEPT for harbor, because that agent SUCKS on pretty much every map besides for Icebox. For that to succeed, it needs almost telepathic connection to your teammates in teamplay - best teamplay i can think of is G2, and frankly they can't pull it off either.
Harbor just needs a straight up reword. I mean, he just sucks. Phoenix should be better, higher pick rate I expect.
Though I don't think it's bad - with good team play, I think initiators are one of the best roles. But you MUST execute together and KNOW YOUR LINEUPS, otherwise you're cooked.
Unless I missed it earlier, before clarification I don't see the mention of Sarah from SRG directly, there's so many sarah's in GC same thing with mels lol - and also yeah I agree she could replace some of these scan players with no issues, I am almost 100% certain she would've pugged her way into tier 2 if GC didn't exist as a gateway
Anyways she has another chance to prove herself, lets hope its gonna be better this time around
Agree on Kamiyu, somewhat agree agree on Amy, agree on srN, indecisive about Nelo, disagree about Sarah (if we're talking GX GC Sarah)
I don't expect any of them to be tier 2 dominators, I will be convinced a GC player can hold their ground in T2 when they get able to dominate the ladder and go at least top 20 there
No hate, but what you send MAKES ZERO SENSE, Let me give you an example:
why are all the unpopular teams have less viewers than the popular teams lol
shouldn't they have more views since they're unpopular
THEY ARE UNPOPULAR CAUSE PEOPLE DON'T AGREE WITH THEM OR CONSIDER THEM.
sorry for caps, just in disbelief at such a statement
People that upvotes and downvote don't care about the post, just whether they agree with it or not, Look at my post at #33, even though it is unpopular it got a good amount of upvotes because people agree with it even though not enough people talk about it, so people are downvoting not because it is unpopular but they don't agree with it, which totally makes sense as most takes that are unpopular, have a higher chance of being disliked by others.
The newly discovered shit Omen can enable on Icebox defense side make not running him completely troll. Every icebox comp should be running Omen/Viper/KJ if you want to be taken even remotely seriously. The other two spots are very flexible though.
This second one hasn't been showcased but I'm like 80% on the best Haven comp post Tejo being Pheonix/Neon/Astra + ofc the standard Sova and Cypher. It checks all the boxes you need from a comp whilst still being able to do the defense/retake Ult cycling of the Iso comp, the aggression and setup hits of the Breach/Neon comp, and the lurk pressure and postplant boost of the Viper comps. It's definitely harder to pilot too, though.
Pacific gets glazed as the deepest region because for some reason they get a pass for doing objectively bad plays. Half the shit that gets called in pacific would get a 5 minute platchat segment made about it if an EMEA or America's team did it, but its passed off as "pacifics style".
Lets call most teams in this region what they are, extremely streaky, confidence based teams who can massively over or underperform based on form. They're good, and can obviously win events, but to pretend like they're clearly the best region is so laughable I don't know why its the dominant narrative.
