twitch is "divissin"
or "noahliftsz" on tiktok live like everyday
soloq to rad is borderline impossible if ur trying to hit it for the first time, so find a duo
play for the win. a lot of people get egos as they climb in rank and throw rounds they shouldn't lose. if u play like there's a gun to your head you'll find yourself staying disciplined and securing wins instead of tossing them.
try not to ruin the vibes of the team. don't be petty.
obviously, focus on your mechanics and positioning. make sure you're not baiting your team, and focus on your movement over everything. the best way to tell the difference between a high level player and a decent player is movement, so make sure your movement is clean and effective.
i dont really have a warmup or aim train besides deathmatches when i'm bored. i personally feel that deathmatches are pretty useful and helpful for keeping yourself sharp. that or tdm.
as for duos, if you're vocal and positive then you'll end up finding someone you synergise well with in ranked. you can duo with them. or get a friend who wants to grind with you.
one trick i use. wherever ur crosshair is, always vision an enemy suddenly appearing there. keep ur crosshair where an enemy would be at the time and try make shooting a reaction time thing less of an aim thing if that makes sense. i was hardstuck low dia till i started doing this and it felt way easier to get kills
obv kills arent the ONLY thing that matter
If u want to get seriously good at the game u need to prob play 10-20 dms daily (bare minimum) aswell as mixing in some tdms and some other aimtrainers like kovaaks or aimlabs, once ur in the game u need to find out where ur weaknesses are (tracking, crosshairplacement, spray control, movement, …) and invest extra time praccing these, for example doing a lot of tracking exercises in Kovaaks or going into range and practice tapping, bursts or sprays, u can invest the extra time to grind dms and tdms even more, very important aswell is to get many reps in ranked, don’t care abt your rank in the beginning, focus on the game, Utility, enemy movements and how u act in certain situations and make sure to think abt it afterwards „how could I perfectly play this situation“ also focus on ur mental, don’t being tilt after whiffing or losing a important clutch is worth a lot and very underestimated, afterwards ur rank will get better over time
As I said, the most important thing is to get reps, dms and tdms are great to get comfy and to learn gun control and certain peeking techniques aswell as raw aim and to learn to get better mouse control, in the end, the one who invests more time efficiently will be the one being better than the rest, if ur willing to be the one to invest the time u can become a rly good player👍
stop filling roles. U may be a flex player that knows how to play a lot of agents but everyone has a few they mastered in specific maps(1-2 agents per role.) In elos lower than immo people may lock in 3-4 duelists, but the higher you go ur teammates will be smarter on who to pick.
Also pick agents that are good win conditions. For example, if ur solo q, stay away from support agents like kay/o that need team coordination. Kay/o on soloq is dreadful.
step 1 is asking whether or not you're willing/able to commit the time.
immortal is doable for anyone and pretty easy to get playing a few hours per week and some aim practice. radiant you kind of need to nolife the game. unless you're extremely talented, say goodbye to your academics, your social life, mental health etc. if you're not questioning your life, you're not playing enough.
radiant is top 500. idk which server you're playing on, but generally every server has an active ranked playerbase of 1-2mil? (ballpark underapproximation here, accounting for people having multiple accounts). that means, randomly sampling from AT LEAST 2000 random players, you need to be, on average, THE BEST (not second best, number 1 and number 1 only) than all other 2000 players (as an underapproximation), in order to reach the very bottom of radiant. to contextualise, schools in the U.K average 22 students/class. being the very bottom of radiant in valorant is equivalent to being THE strongest academically over AT LEAST 100 classes. assuming 10 classes/year, you need to be THE strongest out of 10 random schools (again, not second. first and first only). for context, being d1 is being around top 4 in ONE class, and immortal 1 is being the best out of 5 classes or so (first/second in the year).
then, assuming that the time you spend on the game is directly proportional to your skill, to be the best, you need to spend the most time. out of 2000 players, you need to spend more time than EVERY one of them. this includes 12 yr olds that can play val for hours and hours without needing to worry about a job/bills.
it comes with grinding nothing else best advice is to lock high ranked value agents: cypher, clove, iso, gekko they require little to no agent mastery and give more time to get better at winning your ones abuse phantom, shorty on clove, cypher and try your best to be a chill say "nt guys round is over we got this " on repeat and try to stop players from flaming without getting flamed
it isn't worth it imo too much time to get there for little reward
