Everyone always talks about scrimbux and how it doesnt really matter, but the 2 teams who made the finals are scrim demons. Does the opinion change for scrims now or was it a one time occurrence?

nothing really matters except how they play. scoreline doesnt mean much. but of course, if you destroy people in scrims, you'll probably do well against them in tournaments if you can stay composed.

Scrims do matter because it shows a team is trying new things. It showed this grand finals when Gambit tried some abnormal comps and strats that paid off.

Scrims dont mean a team will definitely win, but gives them a much better chance provided they are trying new things. I think the reason Vikings did great in scrims at Iceland but poorly in the event was because they were playing to win scrims and not try new things so got read easily.

I feel like we are missing the real meaning of "scrim results don't matter". Usually saying that means that it doesn't matter the outcome, whether it was a victory or a loss, rather than how the opponent played, if they were always on top of you or whatever else. That does matter, as it does tell your team/teammates where you're gonna have to reinforce the team at.
If scrims didn't matter at all, then there would be no point in even playing them.
