CN Ascension 2025 Group B: Chosen Clique Gaming vs Keep Best Gaming
CCG Observations: Their defense on Bind was impressive, especially their retakes. Their teamplay was good and the attacking were good enough to close up both maps. Haven was extremely one sided, so there isn't much to say. Player mechanics look adequate and I'm looking forward to another game from this team.
KBG Observations: A strong performance overall from KBG. Keeping their best interest in mind, the team was able to obtain a win against Q9. The site executes were great (especially on Haven), and players adapted well to the situations they were in. I had some doubts when the attack half ended 6-6 on Abyss but their defense proved me wrong. As previously stated, the Haven attack was just amazing and I really liked the Iso - Yoru double duelist combination.
CCG PtW: Maple and KaweNtw both had good and should be consistent enough for another good showing.
KBG PtW: Wolfen stood out and is my PtW for this series.
Prediction: 2-0 KBG win. CCG puts up a good fight but are unable to close out the series.
For sure but there have been way too many times where I guess a 2-1 between two teams close in level and it ends up being a 2-0. KBG should win either way...
CCG's roster is arguably stronger than KBG based off of what we saw in the opening matches, but Wolfen is kind of insane in these lobbies.
the entire Wolfen cycle: look extremely promising in the first few games, then fall off Angel Falls to become the biggest disappointment in the league. it happened on KOI, it happened on Case, and now it's happening on KBG...

wolfen might be better off as an initiator or sentinel rather than duelist ngl
