Whenever I view matches, in the betting section, I see numbers like 1.2 , 3.5. For example,
NRG ESPORTS (1.20) vs. (4.23) Obey Alliance

I don't understand what they mean. Can someone please explain briefly what they mean?

P.s. I am not into betting, just curious.

the team with the lower number is more likely to win. if you were to bet 100 dollars on NRG, you would get $120 if they win, on the other side, you would get $423 is obey alliance wins and you bet on them.

I am pretty sure it’s the return per dollar bet.

So if you bet 10 dollars on obey you would make roughly 40 bucks if they win.

It’s just the odds, normally bookies don’t use this and use odds like 3/2 which means every 2 dollars you put on you get 3 back but this site probably uses this because all esports watchers are thick and can’t understand fractions and odds

multiply the number by your amount of money you bet on the team and you would get how much you win, basically its called odds = chance of the team to win, lower number more chance to win = less money you could win betting on them
