Why Riot Games Don't Like Turks?

There is a large community in Turkey and Riot Games does not do anything for this community. Let's look at communities other than Turks, for example, Brazil There are 2Slots in Masters for them and there is a Brazilian character in the game. There are many more such communities, we can put Japan and Russia among them, and the Turkish community is as big as these communities. Why isn't something special done for Turks?

It is very simple to make a character because Turkiye is a multicultural country. It is very easy to map because Turkey is geographically beautiful, there is interest in Esports and the Game, but Riot does not do anything special for Turks. Please support us and do not let our love for this game go unrequited.

yea the slots I think have been determined since the beginning of the year and I doubt they will change them until next year. There are multiple regions that got screwed with master slots and some regions that got blessed. I feel for you on the slots and also don't to extent due to the showing the Turkey teams had in the EMEA challenger playoffs. We'll se how they perform this time.

sea and oceania deserve one or two considering how big the region is, but japan doesnt deserve 2 spots tho imo. 1 def but not 2 for japan as a separate country as they were not up to the mark at iceland.

Yea I agree I think everyone would make a few changes to the way the slots were distributed. Some want it to be based off the size of the playerbase per region and some want to see the best teams in the world even if they're mostly from 1-3 regions. Oceania is in the same boat as Turkey where they have to qualify thru a different region (NA/EU). I never understood how Oceania would be able to qualify thru NA without traveling across the globe. Turkey can at least play on the same servers as EU. And Japan could easily be grouped in with Korea like Oceania with NA and Turkey/CIS with Europe

A character will most likely me made eventually based off Turkey and their culture. Riot makes diverse characters and also seems like they try to match the agents personality/utility with their backstory/nationality. Maybe they haven't found the right match between an agent and Turkeys culture yet but will most definitely come in the future I would say

Just wait till next year. The slots were decided many months ago, even the people thinking we should change slots currently like give BR and JP less spots are speaking way too prematurely. We’ve had one 10 team LAN. Let the game learn from the year, they basically went in blind based off popularity from like 10 months ago, there’s gonna be some error that needs fixing.

It would not surprise me we see tons of changes next year, at a minimum region slot adjustments. We don’t even know Riots plans for the future. For all we know they want events to be 24 teams with a group stage at the beginning. Not saying that’s the case, I’m just trying to make a point that next year is when everything we learned from this trial year during a pandemic pays off. There’s gonna be some growing pains guys, we are literally growing a new esport. But I do hope we get as much region diversity as possible, so I’d love if you Turks have your own slots just like any other fanbase. Hopefully that can happen.

As for a Turkish agent. Definitely could see one coming in the future. I’d love there to be a Canadian agent or map, but my hopes aren’t high. Until then, I joke around with my friends that Omen is a Canadian.

And turkey had 3 slots for emea challengers finals while the whole cis region of many countries got 1 and the 30 countries in Europe got 4.
