Riot has confirmed details regarding Stage 3 of North America's Valorant Champions Tour.

Following a format similar to Stage 2, Stage 3 will consist of two Challengers main events leading up to the Challengers Playoffs. Qualifiers will feature 128 teams, drafting eight into the main event. As Sentinels Sentinels North America Rank #2 TenZ Tyson Ngo Zellsis Jordan Montemurro zekken Zachary Patrone johnqt Mohamed Amine Ouarid Sacy Gustavo Rossi and Version1 Version1 Inactive were the NA representatives at Masters Reykjavik, they have both been given BYEs up until the round of 32. The qualifiers will be single-elimination, with all matches being Bo3.

Just like in Stage 2, the top four teams from each main event will qualify for the Challengers Playoffs. The bottom four from Challengers 1 will get a second chance, being automatically placed into Challengers 2. After all eight teams for the Challengers Playoffs are chosen, only the three best squads will book a ticket to Masters Berlin. During these three events, both Challengers and the Challengers Playoffs, teams will play a double-elimination Bo3 tournament, with the grand final being Bo5

As predicted by the VCT Global Competition Policy, Breeze makes its debut in the first open qualifer on July 1. As a result of the new six-map pool, veto processes for Bo1, Bo3, and Bo5 matches have been altered. There are different Bo3 map selection processes for the Challengers Open Qualifiers and the main event. All the veto processes are available below:

Best of one:

Note on Seeding: Pre tournament, each team ranks all maps in order of preference. Final maps are determined by the highest average choice (of playing teams) from the pool of remaining maps in a series

KAY/O will only be available from the Challengers 2 Open Qualifier, starting July 22, in compliance with rule 7.4.1 of the VCT Global Competition Policy.

By winning Masters Reykjavik, Sentinels automatically earned their spot in Valorant Champions at the end of the year, amassing 500 points. They're trailed by Version1, Envy, and FaZe as the other teams in the top four aim to clinch a spot at the biggest Valorant event of 2021.
