With such an amazing crowd, venue and community in Tokyo
Aswell as the state of competition rn

This event could definitely be the best one yet

TL made a lost looking Fnatic bleed which is a sign of crazy improvement
Fnatic are still a contender but need a lot of cleanup which we know they will do

There are three dark horse teams in EG Fut and T1

There is a disgruntled navi and DRX which is stopped trolling could be back

Paper Rex is fucking back and it’s gonna be so fun to see this iteration internationally

Loud looked phenomenal today but that’s not to say a different looking NRG could flip that result

I think it’s fair to say that there is no favorite for Tokyo

My pred is still Loud Fnatic final again but maybe fut t1

Nah I still think Fnatic are the favorites with LOUD being the second. They literally dropped like 5 maps in the whole split, 3 of those coming from the finals. People are overreacting so hard over the finals while ignoring rest of the split. There isn't like super strong favorite for obvious reasons, but putting Fnatic among teams like DRX, NRG, PRX, even TL is unreasonable IMO.

They lost total of 2 maps in whole split before the finals, and one of those was with a sub. Thinking that Fnatic just magically dropped below or even at same level as Liquid after losing one game is unreasonable. If you replayed Liquid vs Fnatic 10 times I would comfortably bet my money on Fnatic winning over 50% of the games and I would guess most would do the same.

OpTic lost like every NA VCT finals while still being by far the best NA team in 2022. T1 in LoL always seems to be losing the finals but end up still being the best LCK team on LANs etc. = point is that one game doesn't mean anything if the roster has shown that they can dominate

Please, lets be honest here…
Always seems like people outside Brazil, in general, never gives LOUD the proper credits. They are winning/getting to every big tounament finals for a long time now.
If you say they arent the best team in the world rn youre not watching Valorant.

We gotta say Loud is the favorite rn.

i think there is a difference between being the best and the "favorite". whether you think LOUD or FNC is the best in the world doesn't matter. the fact is the gap is small, and valorant has a lot of randomness

on the right day, any of the top teams can win against each other

+1 in theory the favorites are PRX, TL and LOUD but lets be honest, anything can happen and Fnatic, NRG and DRX are almost the same level with the champions, I dont know about 3rd seeds, but I think EG(with Demon1) and NaVi are strong too
