Recently I've been seeing so many cs frogs shitting on the val esports scene and the game in general. Why can't they accept that the two scenes are completely different and so are the games. Why can't they coexist. This shit feels like the whole console debate.
in terms of infrastructure, right? I was a cs esports frog that watched every tier 1-3 event but that got so fkin boring that i couldnt stand it anymore.. ive been watching cs esports since 2016 but in 2020-2021 i couldnt stand it any longer, the same bullshit teams qualifying and facing each other it was so predictable.. I think in terms of infrastructure csgo takes by a mile, in terms of entertainment val is currently far better IMO.
Maybe you got bored of it because maybe you stop liking it? It is still very great to watch if you like it

Bro you prefer valorant which has franchised system so there you will ALWAYS will watch the same teams, while in Cs you could have upsets and new underdogs all the time, so whats you point?
I meant valorant in entertainment because valorant is too diverse, theres so many things that could happen and valorant has too much macro/micro game while csgo is more AIM dependent. I also think that because valorant is a fresh game it was what i needed to finally give up on csgo esports.. I still love csgo to this very day, i probably have around 7-8k hours invested into it but the esports scene just doesnt have the same old appeal anymore. Maybe its because in my time we had legends such as F0rest, Get_right, kennyS, Fallen, Coldzera, we had prime astralis, prime SK, prime NIP, etc.. I just think i expect too much from these 'newer' teams

I do agree that hurts a little when the legends we grew watching them are getting older and washed, and the great legacy teams are ending, but I still like the esports new players, but I guess not everyone is like that.
But I have to disagree on csgo being just more Aim dependent. In casual pugs we play, yeah its more aim dependent because we may be playing with randoms and we just wanna get some elo, but in esports, I think people underrate the micro and macro in cs. People shouldn't compare cs and val's micro/macro because they are different games.
But in my experience as a player and viewer, I think cs is a little more harder because in we could do much more with the utility, while in valorant we almost see the same team combinations and we have a pattern how we use the abilites
But this is just my opinion, and I like reading other's people opinions too
Well, I actually do not think cs viewership is declining, and I do not disagree that valorant is growing. But I think in both games will have a "base" viewership that just wants to watch the game, and then the rest depends on the teams, because there are a lot of fans that just wants to see NAVI playing or Faze playing or G2 playing, etc. in cs, and Sentinels, Loud, etc. in valorant.
So we don't have an exact measure of viewership declining.
saw this on my feed too lol, im more into the cs scene than val but the whole argument between the fan bases is really exhausting. and his arguments between the crowds was so biased LMFAO, he used clips from the paris major and compared it to the small little venues for crowds they had for the franchised seasons in val. still dont get why other cs people cant appreciate that there is a competitor to their game, it only makes both better in the long run
disagree about the gameplay bro but i like both games, val is definitely the more casual experience and you can play more fast and loose, cs requires you to play more precisely or you just get punished, so i like 5 stacking or pugging cs way more but val is the more fun game to solo or duo

nope, the viewership trend is actually showing a DECLINE. So, the more years pass, the less views valorant is gonna get, until it reaches a flat line (like csgo) where the playerbase will have settled (the ones that enjoy it for the game, not for the hype/clout).
If the production continues to be dogshit, it's gonna decline even further.

I've noticed many valo players (ex csgo or those who play both) dont hate csgo but csgo players get so insecure over valorant, it makes it funny. It shows a microcosm of valve getting insecure about valorant and releasing CS2

I love both games, but I can agree that CS:GO just has better presentation overall. Valorant is extremely sanitized and the observation can be hit or miss. IDK if something is in the valorant water supply, but it feels like players are overall less passionate for the game and the competition compared to the average CS frog. Valorant is still relatively young and they're still figuring it out, I have faith in rito to atleast touch ESL or Blast level at some point.
