Don't think so
I'm just used to 4:3 so I'm going to stick with it

its sens doesn’t feel the same as csgo I think tho, with csgo the horizontal is faster than the vertical, but with the valorant the vertical and horizontal are the same. that’s why I play native on both games, so that it’s consistent

It does not matter, it only changes the resolution in-game (how HD the game is), and hud/ui if you are playing 4:3 STRETCHED, no disadvantage.

if you are playing 4:3 Black Bars, your game will be smaller, a great disadvantage.

Disadvantage 4:3 stretch gives you is :

  • sharing/copying line-ups for any agents that are HUD based is tricky
  • recording is shittier
  • streaming shittier
  • blurry crosshairs
  • its not CS and in lot of case you have less fps than native

4:3 black bar

  • you have less FOV, basically missing important information

Even a player with a 4:3 screen SHOULD use 16:9, more FOV = more info, simply

Unless you have graphic card shittier than GTX 970, use 1920x1080, you'll not loose/win significant FPS

In this game u legit have same FPS on ALL High settings and ALL low.
Same goes with resolution it doesn't affect fps at all.
FOV is same on 16:9 and 4:3 for Valorant.

nah, it's similar but not the same, for high end PCs it makes no difference, but on low end it's definitely noticeable

I played before on 750ti and i5 4460 my fps was same on high/low settings
Now I have 1070ti i5 9600KF, same shit FPS is the same.
Only noticable difference is how unsmooth game feels on HIGH settings compared to low.

Example go in config edit resolutionscale and ur still gonna have same FPS as before

this is not low end for valorant, valorant can run very well on a gt 710, low end is like some shitty laptop integrated intel graphics.

I use 4:3 stretch because it stretches the crosshair

Idk I prefer 1720x1080 to elige’s 1680x1050

It’s a little sharper imo

i literally tried the majority of the resolutions available to me since i play on an HP laptop and I like 1360x768 16:9, but i do like 16:10 as well

Not worth it if anyone is using for more fps, for example I have no graphics card so I tried 4:3 still got only 40 fps
