I see a lot of teams playing well in Americas and for me it is because of the franchise system.
It helped the teams play against different styles and be more disciplined.

Do you feel the level of gameplay has increased in EU and Asia?

Solid team dominate scene before league
NA - LOUD C9
EU - NAVI Fnatic
pacific - DRX PRX

except beyond team level of gameplay is too low
FRAUDs everywhere

not until relegation is introduced. right now teams like DFM/GE/KC/KRU etc dont have any incentive to improve for 4 years

A relegation system makes no sense in a franchising league. It does not correspond to the purpose of franchising and would simply make it an open league again(Like it was before). Orgs have contracts and can rely on playing in the highest league (better contracts with sponsors etc.) which is among other things the purpose of franchising. In my opinion Riot has solved the problem the best way possible, because no team is relegated when another team is moving up from vcl to vct.

the contract right now is 4 years. do you know how long that is in esports terms? games literally die in a couple years. Would you agree that 4 years should be cut down to 1-2 years atleast?

they're esport companies. they have to win or else they go bankrupt (ngl they probably go bankrupt regardless). plenty of incentive

the level of play is being restricted by player quality currently
i feel like a lot of rosters are gonna have drastic overhauls next transfer window, frauds and paycheck stealers kicked and lot of T2 talent coming in.
DRX, C9, Loud, PRX all looking very strong after picking up ex-T2 players and a lot of orgs are gonna follow suit

Idk if this is the case, different orgs have different practices. Eg and c9 are known for taking chances on unproven NA talent, and it just doesnt look like a lot of the board on these other teams will aprove to take relatively unknown talent. Jakee was a good tier 2 player but he was nowhere near the top or even close to t1 scene. We will most likely see teams trying to get players from the top of the tier 2 scenes in their region.

yeah it will mostly be along the lines of this, nothing like the craziness in scouting jakee. i will say that even if orgs aren't known for it, i still think it will happen due to basically every current top team having done it fairly recently and done very well off the back of it.

Franchise fucked up region identitity. NA and latam were always the puggy teams, but most look so drilled, only exception being kru and sen. Emea has a lot of puggy teams including liquid which is a surprise cuz I thought redgar was a super smart igl (now that I look back at it he was never as good at midrounding). Brazil is still super aggro except LOUD because loud is world champ they are good at everything.
