weird that so many people want to discredit kyedae's accomplishments, i remember there was a clip of some NA pro spectating someone jump before defusing to make steps and make them think they were off of bomb, yet there wasn't a single comment saying "imagine being a T1 pro and not knowing that 💀"

tl;dr kyedae haters are fuckin weird, people will find a reason to shit on her for anything (tenz gf, woman in val, etc.)

ascendant is a fucking coinflip but sometimes you need a boost to get out of that hell

for me i peaked asc 3 90 rr (then stopped cause school got hard), the only way i climbed from a1-3 was spamming yoru and duelists. i don't blame her for queueing w tenz, cause if she can solo queue and still hold her own in immortal then she deserves to be at that rank, regardless of how she got there

Exactly, Valorant is a relatively big game considering there are many maps and agents to chose from. Each map has their own quirks for each agents so people shouldn't be suprised if someone is only just learning something for the first time.
I've been playing for at least a year and a half if not 2 and there are still plenty of agents I haven't played enough of to know all the intricacies.

she wasn't boosted by him, she got to immortal on her own. i have watched her matches before and i wouldn't be upset having her as a teammate (i'm around that same elo). tenz queued with her only because everyone got hard reset to ascendant 1 in the new episode, why would she subject herself to terrible teammates when she can queue w someone who comms to speed up the inevitable process of ranking up? she holds her own in game, plain and simple

i do believe that she has the skills to climb back to immortal, but at the end of the day if u are queueing with tenz u are getting boosted. aim deteriorate/improve all the time, she will climb back to immortal in no time even with solo q if she has the same level of aim as before

i've played games with friends to get to a higher elo, even if they are smurfing. but, if i can solo queue and still do better than half the lobby after now being at a higher elo, i wouldn't consider myself being boosted by them. all they did was help me get out of elo hell.

first clip: she was the lowest rank in the lobby, they were playing with a shit ton of imm3s, therefore the average elo between them checks out. if she wasn't actually imm and she got boosted there, the average elo would be way lower, especially if he's on a smurf account.
of course she knows omen can do one ways. i've seen her do some in clips. it's just that specific one-way that not many people would think of and how broken it is given the angle and how you NEED to crouch to see them. i've played 500 hours of yoru and have mastered his kit, but there's always some new one-way flash or tp lineup to learn. i know the mechanics, but not every scenario where it can be good.

my point is that people will make fun of her for not knowing something simple, yet i don't see those comments when it comes to pro players. 2 clips come to mind (s0m and the footsteps during a clutch and yay learning a new angle from a silver) yet no comment is saying "imagine being a pro and not knowing that". just feels like people want to shit on her because they want to discredit a woman being immortal. maybe im wrong, but that's what it seems like to me.
