korea is indeed the strongest but i don't think they are strong enough to have 21 players in the league. PH got lucky with RRQ

Ngl, Korea only have 2 good teams. I feel like they should give that slot to Thai or ID maybe SG. Korea has always been dominated by 1 team and the rest didn't even manage to win lcq.

Sg is also good region and also has talented players, i think they should have more player in pacific league

I think korea and thailand are currently the top two in terms of talent depth with the roster of DRX being the best in the whole region. Although korea only has a lot of players because they have three teams, same with japan. I don't really think singapore is the region that should see more representation due to performance in 2022, both paper rex and bleed had two imports and paper rex only had two singaporean players. Aside from prx and bleed, I don't think singapore is that deep. It is a crime though that there aren't more Indonesian players in the pacific league. I think Indonesia has a really deep talent pool that should have been picked up.

to support my point about thailand being on the same level of Korea in t2 in terms of depth tho, the best team in thailand tier 2, mith, is made up of mostly previously unestablished players aside from PTC, and we still have a player like sScary sitting in tier 2 and tearing up the MYSG VCL. Talon also picked up two relatively unknown players and both of them have played really well internationally, so there is definitely a lot of talent. And personally, from watching, I think the top 4 thai teams look really solid although MITH is definitely a level above all of them (you can say I'm a bit biased in this last point tho)

KR, TH, and ID all have deep talent pools too make at least 2-3 good teams
PH and JP have less talent but could make 1-2 solid teams
SG has some really good star players but barely enough talent to make a full team
VN is just FCY + crazyguy
MY and HK/TW are kind of irrelevant in Valorant
No comment on India until I see the VCL

kr has 3 spots and enough players to run 4, and if we also talk about ascension they could make atleast 6 good teams

I think rito has to ad more slots to the ascension maybe like apac wildcard where every 2nd seed from each region can compete for extra slots in ascension
