people overrating/underrating gekko plant gimmick

Just my opinion, but I don't think it's some useless ability that will never be used, but neither is it some overpowered thing that makes a new meta. people arent going to smoke site, send wingman in and all sit outside site waiting for it to plant. itll just be used as a time-saver during site takes, so that the normal planter can instead help defend site from pushes. niche ability, and imo although it seems op at first, its fairly balanced. hopefully leads to some crazy clutch defuses.

we need at like least like a month to wait how he is used in pro play
when harbor came out so many people said he was trash which was completely wrong

its pretty good for clutches and fakes, but useless in real executes

I think everyone keeps forgetting that he isn't only used for spike, he can run in as essentially a boombot that stuns instead of kills too

imo wingman is very strong but not for the plant ability. it's great for defusing, and great for being basically a reusable boombot, but the planting is only useful if you already have site control and want to take more space ct

it won't be as strong as you think. I think wingman has a lot of utility and you can collect orb that's where his strength lies.
