Actual Superteams in Franchising

Just assessing strong/popular teams in no particular order.

NRG: crashies is one of the best initiators, and FNS is as far as I know one of the best IGLs as well. Honestly, I've always been a bit skeptical of Victor, but he was still a valuable part of OpTic so I won't count him out. S0M showed up really nicely at LOCK//IN and I can never forget ardiis' clutch against DRX. I'd at least consider NRG an NA superteam, if not a global one.

DRX: If Zest or Rb are the weakest links, then DRX has to be a superteam. stax and buzz are two of the best intiators/duelists, while I personally consider MaKo to be the best controller right now.

C9: Not even a question after yay left.

LOUD: All members of the team are equally valuable, in my opinion, and they're equal to the highest standard.

100T: Noteworthy members of Cryo and bang. I didn't see much from Cryo at LOCK//IN, but I think that's just because he was on Omen for whatever reason. bang is great, but not comparable to MaKo or Tuyz. But even if Cryo was Derke level or bang was MaKo level, Asuna, Stellar, and Derrek are not a "superteam" core.

FNATIC: Same assessment as LOUD.

SEN: Superteam on paper with core of pANcada, Sacy, and Zekken. Unlucky that they went up against FNATIC first, so I can't really assess them yet.

Uncommon Pengu L. NAVI looked like the best team in the world beforw the FNC game. Also FNC have always been FPX/NAVIs cryptonite

ik NAVI had a bad game, im basing my assumption of the top 4 matches because NAVI and DRX had relatively easy paths to top 4, if we are talking about group stages then NAVI would 100% be better

Top 4 teams are all good, NRG is def the best of the rest and Leviatan and Sen have the highest ceiling for me outside of that, but 100T looks like they can be consistent but just not break through IMO.

I'll also add that DRX is the most likely of the current top 4, at least IMO, to not be seen as a "super team" and make changes by the year end. IMO Rb and Zest are both not up to par of the other 17 players that played in playoffs this tournament(only one close is Ange1 because his ass fragging was back but he's still one of the most valuable players ITW).

Those 8 teams tho are for sure my picks for the best 8 this year, which would be 5 in Americas 2 in EU 1 in APAC, which may be some americas bias from me, I just don't think that TL will break into the top 8, and Talon was the only APAC team that looked moderately good.

The only superteams in the world right now are:

FNATIC
SEN

that's it. They are teams assembled with some of the best players in their roles.

DRX, NRG, NAVI - these teams have had their existing core for YEARS, they were not built with the best players, they became the best players due to how good their teamwork is. That's it.
LOUD was arguably a superteam as they were originally the 5 best Brazilian players (minus mwzera I guess), but after the new player changes perhaps not. I can't say Tuyz is better than pANcada.

It just means their 2 new players are good. old LOUD won Champs, pANcada is the best smokes player in Brazil. I guess Sacy and Cauanzin is up for debate but I think that if given the choice LOUD would choose pANcada over Tuyz

SEN dropped essentially their entire roster for 2 world champions, the biggest upcoming flex rookie in NA, the 2nd best NA IGL at the time, and TenZ. I would say they're a superteam.
