This is My first APAC article, hope it goes across well.

Rex Regum Qeon have signed another Indonesian talent in Hagai "Lmemore" Kristen Yesyurun.

https://twitter.com/teamrrqofficial/status/1583669033249177600

Lmemore joins after spending the past year on ONIC G. During his time on ONIC, they were able to prove themselves as a top contender in the Indonesian and Asian-Pacific region alongside Alter Ego and BOOM Esports. While the team was unable to make any international events within the year, they would find success in the Asia-Pacific LCQ where the team would take the runner-up spot next to fellow Indonesian team BOOM Esports, ending their 2022 run just shy of qualifying for Champions 2022.

Rex Regum Qeon on the other hand did not have the same success. They managed to make their way through the Filipino Challengers events, but could not find success when combined with other regions in the APAC region. They did manage to find success in a lower tier tournament, Predator League 2022 - Philippines where the team would take a 2-0 victory over South Built Esports. But could not replicate the success in the following event, The Esports Club Challenger Series 9 - APAC Qualifier losing to NAOS Esports in the first round.

With Rex Regum Qeon being one of the Pacific regions franchised teams, they began making changes. The team began by dropping Franz "kvzx" Kevin Dingal and Jose "Draxii" Eduardo D. Jamir and signing Eroll "EJAY" Jule Delfin, David "tehbotoL" Monangin, Saibani "fl1pzjder" Rahmad and Lmemore in the weeks following their release.

The Rex Regum Qeon roster now has eight players on the roster for the 2023 season alongside 2 members of the Coaching staff.

Currently, the Rex Regum Qeon roster is:

to be fair, they played one of the best teams in the world, than the best Japanese team in their FIRST international appearance.

he is the most inconsistent duelist in APAC

been watching him since 2020

2020 AE berserX is a wayy different beast tho but he fell off after joining BOOM idk why

They should take a Korean Duelist maybe? since they already have 3 indo in their lineup that shouldn't be problem....

Rrq want it to be indo/ph mix and kept stubborn about it. Idk why, maybe bcs the marketing is tempting for them to kept having ph player.

Tbh i'd rather pick noxxy from Alter Ethrow as a duelist. He's as sharp as berserx but more reliable in terms of performance. Ever since berserx move to Boom, he kinda lost his touch. Praying 2023 he'll be as strong as 2021 AE berserx.

Riot really made RRQ change the roster. Interesting what they'll do with the 8man. Maybe GE type thing?

#39

Yeah it was probably Riot but I mean to the practice it’s still the same, hopefully they do end up doing just like GE and getting 5 good players and leaving the other five on bench

they can make GE Academy and work their way up. We'll have to see in the future!
