Sentinels destroying their brand?

No hate, just a genuinely asking how you feel about sentinels atm.

Lets be honest xset was one of the NA orgs with the least fans even despite their success + Cryo was their most popular player. Rn Im way more excited to watch NRG, C9 and 100T than Sentinels.

I feel like they are not only losing fans but even people like me who were just hyped to watch them everytime. Btw this is not me saying they should have stuck with their old players - I love that they want to build a more competitive team - but maybe they should not add the core roster of one of the most boring orgs when literally every player out there would have loved to play for you.

It obviously also depends on the rest of the team but with it looking like they are not resigning tenz and maybe adding BCJ (could be likely since he has no buyout has opposed to trent for example) I literally could not care less.

I have this feeling that if tenZ leaves Sentinels would have a drop out of 75% of fans , ofcourse the real org fans stays there but they need to keep some of them to like actually have the support from the fans but ukw if i see from sen perspective they have made it and will do anything to be as good as other teams in the league but i genuinely believe keeping tenZ is also being at the highest level idk why people are thinking that tenZ << dicey idek

og fans were from the sinatraa era with dapr sick n all but even them are all gone except dapr and i dont think any fan would wanna stay with sen if none of the people who hooked them onto the org aren't there anymore

bro.. shahz didn't have any clout anyways. All the clout was from TenZ , SEN's victories and Sinatraa primarily. He just profited by streaming 24x7 when he was part of a good team

SEN's popularity has been due to their win streak in 2020 and 21, TenZ and then Shroud. As long as TenZ plays their popularity won't go down.

If they keep TenZ which I feel like they will, their popularity stays the way it is. After all TenZ is like the front face of SEN so if they remove him then it'll honestly be stupid

competitiveness and clout can coexist. also its not like they are signing the greatest players in the world. Its the same players from XSET that the SEN team used to shit on last year.

YES THANK YOU thats my point. There were so many great free agents and most would have chosen Sentinels as the biggest brand in Valo over other teams. Why did they decide to go for xset players who despite their good performance in champs did not look like one of the best teams in the world instead of for example Optic players , buying out a big name from EU etc. (kinda what NRG is doing honestly). I feel like they could have done so much better.

Like with the Rawkus situation this year

Sure they are less dominant due to lack of practice and didn’t cope with the changes in meta quickly like other teams in NA. Not to mention problems outside of the game for some players

Hopefully Sentinels do some move quickly because if VLR users keeps making new thread about them on a daily basis
